4th of July

This year we spent the 4th of July in Lake Powell with my family! For those that don't know... They have a boat at Wahweap! I have been going there since I was a little kid! It was a blast... I love it there! My parents friends Brent and Roxanne also came! They are great people! And so fun to be around! Plus they brought their ADORABLE dog that Maddy didn't let go of basically the entire trip! lol :)

Anyway, we left home on Thursday, then on Friday morning we went out and found a beach. We took a couple trips to Dangling Rope to get ice cream, but mostly hung out at the beach and swam and ate... We stayed at the beach until the 4th, and then went to a different spot so we could watch the fireworks on the lake.

Thanks to my Mom and dad for an awesome time!

Like usual, of course, the camera didn't get taken out until the trip was almost over... But here is what we have!

I forgot in my last post I said I would post pictures of the bachelor/bachelorette party... I am a slacker, I know! It was a SUPER fun night! Jenny is awesome! Fun games, good food, awesome people... AND she even got me a Hummer limo! But here... You can just see for yourself!

Well it's official... I went to the drivers license division today and changed my last name. I am now officially Jamie Suzanne Fields! WOW that is so weird!

I remember in junior high and high school I used to write that name in my notebook over and over again, wishing one day it would be mine, and that Evan and I would be married.... And now it is actually true. That name is mine. And Evan and I are married... SO WEIRD!!!

The wedding was INCREDIBLE! It was everything I wanted it to be! Thank you to everyone that came ! And to my friends and family for all their hard work! Thank you for making my day so special and beautiful!!! The professional pictures wont be done for a month or so... so here are a couple that were taken at the wedding by other people.

The honeymoon was awesome! Except the fact that I got a sinus infection and was sick for the ENTIRE thing! FIGURES! Evan and I will have to have a re-do one of these years! :) I don't have all my pictures on my computer yet... But here are a couple:

Now we are back to regular life. We are so excited to be married, and loving every minute of it!

Only 4 days till Evan and I get married... I know that is all I have posted about lately but we are SO excited it's hard to have anything else to talk about! lol :)

We had our bachelor/bachelorette parties on Saturday... (Evan's continued to most of Sunday also!) it was SO much fun to go out with the girls! Pictures will be up soon... just warning you... it was NUTS! Thank you so much to everyone that came! It was SO fun! And thank you to JENNY! She is incredible! Thank you so much girl! And to Pam for the awesome food! mmmmm!

Pretty much all the wedding plans are done! Just a few loose ends to tie up... Pick up my dress, break in my shoes! :) Wrap the bridesmaids presents, finish up sheet music with my little brother (did I mention we are bringing in a piano and he is playing for the wedding and dinner?) ... That kind of stuff!

The rehearsal dinner is on Thursday! Then all of the clan is gunna go out and have some fun together, since it is pretty rare that we are ALL together!

I can't wait to see my brother Ryan and his Wife Carrie and daughter Ava! They are such a cute cute family! They are coming from Hawaii for the big day and I am so excited!

Also Evan's family from California is coming! His Grandma, Uncle Mike, Aunt Linda, Andy, Misty and Reagan, Paul and Donna! Can't wait to see all of them again!

This wedding is going be like a family reunion and I am SO excited about it!!!

This past 11 months has FLOWN by... And, although it hasn't been perfect, I am so happy with the way life has taken me! Can't wait to be married to my high school sweetheart!!! CRAZY!

Just a special thank you to my Mom and Dad and Pam and Todd for everything they have done, and to JENNY! Girl you are incredible! I couldn't do this without you! And thank you for the AWESOME party on Saturday! SO fun!!

Updating

Haven't posted in a while... Not a lot has happened, but I suppose it is time to catch up:

- Evan and I got engagement/family pictures taken a few weeks ago.

That was a really fun day! They turned out pretty cute.

Everyone says that I look like a totally different person.

I love them, but still trying to get used to them.

It is coming up fast and we are SO excited.

Pretty much everything is done, reserved, picked, planned.

Just a few more things to do and we are ready.

- My bridal shower is this Saturday at noon.
